Aloo fry

Aloo fry is a simple dish. For lazy cooks like me, its all time favourite. Very few ingredients and very less cooking time = aloo fry. For all bachelors out there, prepare this and have it with rice and curd, and you will feel heaven on earth.

To serve 2, you will need:-

Potatoes - 2 medium sized, cut into small cubes
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp
Tumeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil - 2 tbsp

Method

Heat oil in a non-stick pan.

Add cumin seeds and let it splutter.

Now throw in the potatoes and fry for 2 mins.

Put chilli powder, coriander powder, tumeric powder, salt, garam masala powder and mix it nicely.

Under low flame, cook the potatoes with lid on.

Once the potatoes turn golden and crunchy from outside, remove from heat and serve

Spicy yummy aloo fry ready.
