Mint Lassi

Lassis are basically punjabi's drink...a perfect body cooler. There are many type of lassis - fruit lassi, saffron lassi, sweet lassi, salt lassi, etc. This is Mint Lassi. Do try this in your kitchen. (Again this is my hubby's creation.....and it was a super-duper hit.......)

For 2 servings you will need :-

Full fat organic yoghurt - 300 ml
Cucumber - 1/2, peeled, deseeded and chopped
Mint leaves - 12 leaves
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Ice cubes - 4
Mint leaves to garnish

Method

Put cucumber and mint leaves in a blender and blend it well. Now add the yoghurt, salt, sugar and ice cubes and blend it. Do not pour water, lassi should be bit thicker. Pour the lassi in a glass and decorate it with mint leaves. For diet conscious people, use low fat yoghurt and honey instead of sugar.

Mint lassi......hmmmm....
