Egg Pakoda

A very nice snack nutritious and tasty too.

For serving 4, you will require:-

Eggs - 4, hard boiled.
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Chicpea flour (besan) - 1/2 cup
Rice flour - 2 tbsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Asafoetida - 1/4 tsp
Sodium bicarbonate - 2 pinch
Salt to taste
Oil to deep fry

Method

Cut the boiled egg into halves and cut the halves into wedges (so you will get 4 wedges from 1 egg).

Now in a bowl mix besan, chilli powder, asafoetida powder, salt, ginger garlic paste, rice flour and sodium bicarbonate.

Mix it well and using water make a thick coatable paste (adding too much water may spoil the dish). Heat oil in a kadai.

Take an egg wedge and dip it in the prepared besan batter and fry it in the hot oil under medium flame.

Fry till they turn golden in colour and take it out and place it on paper towel and serve hot with sauce.
