Party Party Party…..people are very busy nowadays that they always try to find time for partying…..party is an “all-in-one package” type. You can meet your friends, you can dine with them, lots of gossiping, sharing the strange happenings of your life, music, dance, drinks, delicious dishes, and many more…..


Well my advise to all is that if it is a friends party….then invite only friends…..if it’s a family party…..please don’t invite any friends….if its an official party then invite only the colleagues….dont mix you guests…..if it’s a ladies party then invite only ladies and ask your husband to stay in the attic…lol….if it’s a gents party then ask your hubby to party in the garden…..coz guys won’t give importance to your flower vases and curtains….:-p

If it’s a kids party then please remove all the breakables from your home a day before…just to avoid loosing some of your treasures…

Select a theme to cook…..for example you can choose chinese menu with some satin table covers and chopsticks…..or go for a punjabi menu with a nice thali and katori sets and bhangra background music…..or an italian menu with some mozart’s background music….or an arabic night with an arabic menu and nice arabic background music…..or you can choose a barbeque night(for indians you can say tandoori nights) and you can sing along with your friends and grill the meat…..

All the above are some of my favourites, you can create your own theme….

If it’s a kiddy party then you can arrange some games so that the kids can participate and a small magic show or karoake can turn your party a mega hit. Don’t forget to buy some thanks gift to make the them feel special. Weekends are great for a kiddy party.

If it’s a big party with many guests then try not to mess with the kitchen…instead you can arrange the food from a catering company.

Some games and events can spice up your party….

Keep a note on the bar counter that drinks will be served only once for those who drive their cars back home after the party. Just to avoid accidents.

No smoking and drinking in a kiddy party. Kids follow what the elders do. So be good and make them good.
